I have used bite toothpaste tablets. I like them. Does not count as a liquid anywhere.

Some solid products are awkward shaped and take up too much space and you have to cut them down smaller. FYI… if you travel on Ryanair be prepared to have your liquids bag sized down (they have tables everywhere with their plastic bags available for you to use). They are smaller than US standard liquid bag carry-on. I learned my lesson, and I now travel with solids.
