I have an LL Bean cosmetic bag. I think it’s smaller than the one in the article. I also have the Vera Bradley. I struggle with toiletries, and still don’t have it ‘right’.

My LL Bean hanging bag does not ever fall forward and things do not tip out. All 3 net pockets zip from left to right. It also has side pockets for taller items which zip separately from the main compartments. I have always found a place to hang it in hotels, air bnbs, cruise ships etc., either at the end of a towel rack, or behind the bathroom door if there’s a hook there, or from the shower rod in a pinch. That way if there’s only a pedestal sink I’m never stuck. I think it’s maybe the way you arrange your items? I can post a photo if it would help? I never even unpack it at home-it hangs on a hook behind the bathroom door so I can easily access it every day, and grab and go for quick packing in a hurry.
